We have presented to you the scriptures so you may have a clear conception of who the "True God" really is, because there exist, even today, beliefs about "gods that are not real" or "gods who by their very nature could not be gods at all" or simply "false gods". Apostle Paul explains:

8But at that previous time, when you had not come to be acquainted with and understand and know the true God, you [Gentiles] were in bondage to gods who by their very nature could not be gods at all [gods that really did not exist]. (Galatians 4:8, AMP)

As Apostle Paul teaches that there are "slaves of gods that are not real or false gods", the Lord Jesus Christ also teaches that there are "true worshipers of God" who believe and worship the "only true God". Thus, before, anyone could render a valid service to God he should first make sure that it is the "true God" that he will serve and worship. For worshiping God based on man-made doctrine ̶ teachings that are not written in the Holy Bible, are useless in the sight of God.

Uselessly they worship me, for they teach as doctrines the commands of men. (Matthew 15:9, AMP)

Because of a preconceived notion about a different God, many people cannot accept the clear and unambiguous words of Jesus, thus, in effect they reject Him and refuses to accept His teachings. Clearly, those who rejects Christ and refuses to accept His teachings will be judged or condemned on the last day by the very message that Christ's have spoken. (John 12:48)

in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.  These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, NKJV)

The judgment is very clear, "in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ". These shall be punished with everlasting destruction.

Based on the bible study we have just completed, let us clarify the scriptural in the "only true god" that it may become clear and meaningful to us.

CLARIFYING
the Scriptural Belief in the
"ONLY TRUE GOD"
that will surely bring man to salvation and eternal life
in the kingdom of God in heaven.

Whenever we say
"GOD"
we mean
The  God who is Absolutely One and not a Trinity
(Lesson-2I)
(not a "three in one god", nor a "two in one god", or any other concept of god)

For Moses and Jesus declared "The Lord our God, the Lord is one" (Dt.6:4; Mk.12:29)
The Lord Himself is God, there is none other besides Him (Deuteronomy 4:35)
The Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other. (Deut. 4:39)
Before Him there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Him. (Isaiah 43:10)
I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no savior. (Isaiah 43:10-11,
I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God. (Isaiah 44:6)
I am the Lord, and there is no other; there is no God besides Me. (Isaiah 45:5)
That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; (Isaiah 45:6)
For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me,  (Isaiah 46:9)

Whenever we say
"GOD"
we mean

 The "Only True God"―
the Father in heaven or God the Father (Lesson-2J)
as introduced by the Lord Jesus Christ in John 17:1-3
He is the Father and God of our Lord Jesus Christ (John 20:17, Romans 15:6, 1Peter 1:3),
He is the Only One God and Father of the Apostles and early Christians (1Cor.8:6, Eph.4:6 NKJV),
He is the Only God and Father of the Patriarchs and Prophets—Moses, Abraham,  Isaac, Jacob and the Israelites since the ancient times (Deut.32:3 & 6,  Isa.64:4&8, Mal,2:10)

Whenever we say
"GOD"
we mean
 the "Lord God Almighty"
(Lesson-2K)

(Rev. 11:1, 15:3, 16:7) (Gen. 17:1,  35:11)
Who is Spirit
(John 4:24) in nature, without flesh and bones (Luke 24:39).
Who is the Creator of all things
(Eph.4:39; Isa.42:5, 45:12)
Who is Eternal, Immortal and Invisible (
1 Timothy 1:17)
Who knows everything
(1 John 3:20)
Who is everywhere (Jer. 23:24)

Whenever we say
"GOD"
we only mean
the "God who never change"
(Lesson-2M)
The God who declared "I never change" (Mal.3:6, CEV)
The Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change (James 1:17)

The Holy One who declared "For I am God and not man" (Hosea 11:9)
The Lord who declared "God is not a man" (
Numbers 23:1)
"The same God from Abraham, Moses to Jesus and His Apostles (Lesson-2L)
The same God taught by Moses (Deut.6:4-5; 32:6) and Jesus (Mark 12:29-30; John 17:1&3)
The same God taught by the Prophets (Isa.64:4&8, Mal. 2:10) And the Apostles (1Cor.8:6; Eph.4:6)
The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob,
the God of all Israeli ancestors who has brought glory to His "servant Jesus" (Acts 3:13)

_______________

The Scriptural Belief in the
"ONLY TRUE GOD"
is summarized as follows:

Whenever we say

"GOD"
we simply mean
The "Only True God"
The Father in heaven or God the Father.
(Who is absolutely One and not a Trinity)
He is the "Lord God Almighty"―the Creator of all things.
He is a Spirit in nature and state of being.
He is Eternal, Immortal and Invisible Supreme Being.
He is the God who never change.
The one God and Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob;
and of Moses, the Prophets and the Israeli ancestors;
And the Only True God and Father of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and His apostles and disciples.
